Hi guys i'm new to this forum and am seeking some good answers so yeah I got a pretty hard question, I think. Back in 2008 when there was the ICL The Pakistani Off-Spinner Saqlain Mushtaq invented the Jalebi or Teesra. The commentators called it the Jalebi because it sticks on the pitch when it lands and then hurries onto the batsman. Also I remember Saqlain saying when bowling it don't overcut the ball. The commentators said it was bowled like a Flipper but many disagree. I know that there are some people who would know the method of how he bowls it. I got a video down below which shows how he releases it but I can't make it out. It has a scrambled seam and goes straight on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftHu-e0t-xc.

To be honest the delivery shown seems to a 'rolled' leg break which has been cleverly disguised so the batsman doesn't pick it up. The key is the way the ball comes out of the hooked fingers and moves in slightly to the left hander off the pitch.
This delivery isn't a great invention but the extraordinary thing (as with everything Saqlain did) was his ability to disguise the delivery and the execution.

Its just a backspinner, doesn't even look very well disguised.
