So 24 hours in and it's going okay. 5 members so far and as many as 69 people listed as active users over the last 24 hour period. I've cleaned up some of the threads and seperated some sections in response to member requests and sussed out how to embed videos and pictures.
So, I'm happy with the progress so far.

Dave Is there some function to watch a thread like in the bigcricket forums? I found that useful as it sent me an email whenever someone has replied.

Funk, I'm not fully up to speed with how the forum works and it's all new to me, so I'm having to learn as I go along. But, I've had a look around at the admin tools and nothing is jumping out at me as being a 'Watch funtion'. The whole thing is free and off the peg and so is relatively basic, but initially I though that we couldn't insert vids and pic's but discovered that we could a while later. If I do get it sussed I'll let you know, but for the minute it looks as though we can't.

There is the option to bookmark a thread and then receive an email notification when a new post is made. Not quite as elegant as Big, but a step forward

Not quite as elegant as Big, but a step forward I saw that and only tried the bookmarking, but it hasn't worked on its own. I didn't modify my profile to send me an alert, but apparently that's only for when someone has sent a personal message, if I unsterstood correctly.

Funk, in the bookmark section of your profile is an option on how to receive a notification when a thread you have bookmarked has a new post. Sorry, didn't then bookmark this thread to check, but that is certainly how it reads to me

Cheers Tony for sorting that out - fancy being an Admin?
