I made another series of frames with Warne's action because I found this camera angle rather interesting, you can see how much forward he reaches and bends forward & down, especially in frames 10-16. Also note that his body at approach is angled back.

I think funk does this himself, it may be a case that if you can find the video of whoever you want analysed and it's good quality -let him know, ask him nicely and perhaps if it's not too time consuming he'll do the work for you?

Yeah i'll do it, in fact I was looking for Swann's action with the camera angle side on, but couldn't find any on youtube .

I think as they've said there's nothing new here even if you are able to work with the maths. They also say that the seam has not even been factored in... Shoddy, I'd say. Still, might be worth a look at - interesting that they seem to indicate that the ball is tilted forwards on its axis.

I'm checking in again to see if there's any interest in the forum. If you do come across the forum and realise there's not a lot going on don't despair check out my blogs as they are still very much active and in use and you can contact me and engage in discussion via the blog comments section at the bottom of each post. The blogs that are active that I'm contributing to regularly are... bowlingplans.blogspot.com/theoldwristspinner.blogspot.com/wristspinbowling.blogspot.com/
